NETWORK NITE
The Making Connections Network is a community movement powered by people who want to make sure our communities are strong and our children grow up healthy and ready to learn.
If you’re one of those people, and you live, work or worship in Shelby Park, Smoketown, Phoenix Hill or California, join our Network! It’s fun, you’ll meet lots of new people, and it’s all free.
We connect to all sorts of opportunities, such as home ownership or exterior repair with partner Habitat for Humanity, help with home foreclosure with partner Legal Aid, help finding jobs or better jobs with the help of our career coaches and partners Norton HealthCare, UPS and others.
Take a look at the folks from June's Network Nite at Wheatley Elementary in the California neighborhood.

NETWORK 101 REUNION
More than 70 people have attended Network 101 training, learning a little bit more about how the Network does its work, connecting us all to each other and to information that can make our communities stronger and our lives better. We invited them together for a reunion, to exchange ideas and tell us what they're thinking.

NETWORK GRILL
Making Connections Network members, partners and California Neighborhood residents took over Victory Park on Saturday, July 11 to celebrate Making Connections' fourth birthday, listen to live music, dance, make beaded jewelry and eat a delicious dinner (and free ice cream bars) in a celebration that just would not quit.
The Str8 Legit dance team from Presbyterian Community Center performed, the band Unlimited knocked out the dance tunes and the rhythms of the River City Drum Corp had the crowd mesmerized.
